Blue Mic was built privacy-first. Meetings are shared through secure, expiring codes, not public links that can leak, get indexed, or be accessed by anyone who stumbles on them. Both sender and receiver must be verified Blue Mic subscribers.
Encrypted in AWS
Audio files are encrypted at rest in AWS, with public access blocked and backend access tightly controlled.
Subscriber-only access
Your meetings are only accessible to authenticated Blue Mic subscribers, never exposed on the open web.
Expiring share codes
Share codes expire automatically and are designed to resist brute-force guessing.
No public exposure
No link previews, no browser history, no accidental indexing. Your meeting content stays private.
Verified end-to-end
Every share is verified subscriber-to-subscriber, on both the sender and receiver side.

Why this matters. Many transcription tools share meetings through public web links, and the moment one of those URLs ends up somewhere it shouldn't, the meeting is gone:
- Public links / "anyone with a link" means a leaked URL = leaked meeting content
- Web viewers get crawled, cached, and screenshotted by link-preview bots
- Browser history and shared devices can persist content long after the share is "revoked"
- No authentication requirement means no accountability for who accessed what
